Terms of use

IrooniMap is a free, bilingual directory of Iranian businesses. In these terms “we” means IrooniMap and “you” means anyone who uses our website, Telegram bot or emails.

You must be at least 13 to create an account. To buy paid services or claim a business page, you must be of legal age or authorized by the business.

Listing a business and its basic display in search, on the map and in categories is free. No business page is hidden or removed for not paying.

We may decline a listing or hide a page if its information is false, duplicated or breaks these terms.

The first listings were compiled from public sources and may be outdated or incomplete. We work to keep them accurate but don't guarantee that any information is complete or correct.

Before an important decision, such as seeing a doctor, lawyer or immigration consultant, confirm hours and professional licensing directly with the business or the licensing body. Appearing on IrooniMap is not an endorsement of a business's quality or professional qualifications.

Only the business owner, or someone authorized by them, may claim a page. Verification uses one of these methods: an email at the business website's domain, a code to the business phone, a message from the business Instagram account, or a valid document.

If someone claims a page without authorization, we revoke their access and may suspend their account. If several people request the same page, we may ask for more evidence.

You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information, deals, events and job posts you publish. Any deal or price you announce must actually be offered.

We may edit, hide or remove content that breaks these terms or is misleading.

Anything you submit to IrooniMap (messages, suggested edits, reports, events, images) must follow these rules. You may not post or do:

• Spam, unsolicited advertising or bulk messages.
• Illegal, threatening or hateful content, or insults toward people or groups.
• Impersonation of a person or business.
• Other people's personal information without permission.
• Automated collection of site data (scraping) or unusual load on our servers.
• Attempts to get around limits, security or the ranking system.

If these rules aren't followed, we may remove content, limit access or suspend the account.

IrooniMap deliberately has no reviews or star ratings. If you see a problem on a page, use the “Report a problem” button on that page. Reports are reviewed by our team and never published.

• Regular search ranking is not for sale. Paid services only buy separate placements, always labelled “Featured” or “Sponsored”.
• Prices are in Canadian dollars; Ontario's 13% HST is added at checkout and shown separately on the receipt.
• Each purchase is a one-time payment for a set period (for example a month, a year or a set number of days) and does not auto-renew.
• Online payments are processed by Stripe. During a trial period, payments may be recorded in test mode with no money charged.
• When a paid plan ends, the page returns to the free plan with all its information.
• We may decline or stop a promotion that breaks these terms or the law. In that case the unused portion is refunded.

• If you ask within 14 days of payment and the placement hasn't started, or you haven't used the paid plan's features, we refund the full amount including tax.
• If something you paid for isn't delivered because of a problem on our side, we refund the undelivered part.
• Once a placement has started, elapsed days are not refunded unless the law requires otherwise.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method. To request one, use the contact form with your order number.

Supporter membership is a voluntary payment to support IrooniMap, for a month or a year, and does not auto-renew. IrooniMap is not a registered charity and no charitable tax receipt is issued.

Membership gives a supporter badge and perks such as early access to new sections, but no search advantage and no benefit to any business. The refund rules above also apply.

Content you upload (text, photos, logos) stays yours. By uploading it, you give IrooniMap a free, non-exclusive permission to display, resize and reformat it to show your page on the site, in the newsletter and on IrooniMap's social media. This permission ends when the content or page is removed, except for copies already published.

You confirm you have the right to publish the content you upload.

The IrooniMap name, logo, «پلاک» design and software belong to IrooniMap and may not be used without permission.

IrooniMap is provided “as is”. We aren't a party to your dealings with businesses and aren't responsible for the quality of their goods, services, prices or conduct.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid IrooniMap in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms and, except in urgent cases, will tell you first.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes are handled in the courts of Toronto, Ontario, unless consumer protection law gives you a different right.

If these terms change, we update the date at the top of the page and announce significant changes by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use IrooniMap after a change means you accept the new terms.
